Coming soon · 15-unit minor
Learn the science—and practice—of living well.
A new interdisciplinary minor designed to help students build healthier, happier lives and bring greater resilience, compassion, and purpose to the people and communities they serve.
Powered byRekhi Foundation for Happiness
College students are navigating unprecedented pressures on their mental, physical, and social well-being. They need more than information about health; they need practical tools they can use throughout their lives.
This minor brings together science, reflection, and applied experience to explore how people flourish across the lifespan. It is especially relevant for future healthcare professionals: students who care for their own well-being are better prepared to care for others.
Connect physical, emotional, cognitive, relational, and purposeful well-being.
Turn evidence into sustainable habits, decisions, and strategies for everyday life.
Build healthier, more compassionate workplaces, professions, and communities.
Flexible by design
The proposed 15-unit minor includes three required courses and two electives. Students may complete it in as few as two semesters, with electives chosen to match their interests and goals.
Explain the interdisciplinary foundations of health, happiness, resilience, relationships, and purpose.
Critically assess and clearly communicate health and wellness information.
Apply ethical, inclusive, and culturally responsive strategies that support well-being.
Create evidence-informed, sustainable plans and solutions for individuals and communities.
